KYOTO, Japan, April 30 Kyodo - Video taken on April 28, 2026, shows a prototype of the fully domestically developed humanoid robot "Seimei" during a media demonstration in Kyoto. Waseda University and private businesses, including Murata Manufacturing Co., robot maker tmsuk and Aisin Corp., jointly developed the robot, standing 140 centimeters tall and weighing 49 kilograms.
